When I think of the concept of home, I think of a place where family and friends gather together, where holidays and birthdays are celebrated, where laughter emanates from rooms, where you can curl up by the fire with a good book or movie, and where we all can escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Home is such an important concept and place for me, and I strongly believe that everyone deserves to find a home that feels like their own form of respite.
My path to real estate is a bit different. I graduated from Colby College as a 3-sport varsity athlete with a BA and a double major in Biology and Economics. After college, I started my career in finance, working in San Francisco and New York City. I worked in equity capital markets, traded over-the-counter derivatives, and finally settled in mergers & acquisitions, where I represented some of the largest consumer brands companies in the world.
In 2009 I competed in my first triathlon, and was immediately hooked! After finishing as the top American amateur at the 2011 Ironman World Championships, I took a leap of faith, left my job on Wall Street, sold my NYC Apartment and moved to California to train and race full time as a professional triathlete. Over the next 10 years I competed in Ironman and half-Ironman competitions all over the world, winning 11 Ironman and 70.3 titles over the course of my career. I hold the 3rd fastest time ever for an American woman at the Ironman distance (8:40:48) and twice finished 7th at the Ironman World Championships. Competing as a professional athlete was one of the most amazing privileges of my life. It connected me to communities in ways I could never have imagined and helped pave the way for some of the most incredible friendships with people across the U.S. and around the world.
When my husband and I bought our first home in Colorado, we worked with 8z. The entire team at 8z provided us with an unforgettable buying experience, and I knew that 8z was the type of company that I wanted to work for and a culture I wanted to be part of as I transitioned out of professional sport and into my new career in real estate. And, in early 2022 I was lucky enough to join 8z as an agent.
I am someone who throws myself 100% into my job and to becoming the absolute best I can be at my craft. As an agent I will work tirelessly for my clients, demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, as well as bring the same drive and commitment as I did in pursuing the highest level of sport.
In my spare time I love to relax with my family, cook, play golf, hike, SUP, back country ski, ride bikes, run, and enjoy a great glass of wine. I serve on the Board of i-Tri Girls, a non-profit organization focused on empowerment of adolescent girls through triathlon, as well as serve on numerous sub-committees for the Professional Triathletes Organization, which represents the interests of professional triathletes globally.
